They wanted to make an option "free or slave" and the Americans people couldent sue the federal court and they couldent free the slaves because they were known as property.

1829-1837 Andrew Jackson President of US

Andrew Jackson was called "sharp knife" by the Indians. When he was younger he served  as a prosecuting officer. Andrew Jackson who was made president on March 4,1829, before 1829 the federal  at least  made 146 treaties with the Indians.

on March 2nd 1836 Texas offiacly declared independence from Mexico and was signed in Washington and is now called the birth place of Texas.

1836-Sam Houston is elected president

in 1832 president Andrew Jackson sent Sam Houston to Texas to bring treaties with local native Americans for protection

1837-1841 Martin Van Buren president of the United States

Van Buren won the white house him self in 1836 but he faced financial panic affected the nation the next year, he lost for re election in 1840.He ran again and lost.

when he ran for president he promised well talent and effort for the country.

1839- Chief Bowles ordered to lead the cherokees out of Texas

The chief bowels displayed the great courage in these battles. In the second engangement he showed courage in all his battles and he helped fight with his army.

Texas secretary of state by president Houston who was recently elected president by opponents  of Lamar Jones was secretary of state until 1844
